Website Service Plan
We’ve been told by many candidates and elected officials that the website developer they paid thousands of dollars to build their website ghosted them once the site was finished. Some even pay a monthly service fee, but they don’t know why because the developer doesn’t do anything and frequently doesn’t return calls.
You deserve better! Don’t let the hard work and funds you put into your website go to waste. Cardinalis has a generous website service plan that includes most issues that will come up throughout the year. We are especially excited to include a biannual consultation meeting to ensure you continue to be happy with your website and that it contains the most up-to-date images and information about your public service.
SELF-SERVICES
Cardinalis does NOT currently provide these services:
– Uploading of blog posts, newsletters, or press releases. You or your assistant will handle these items although we do provide training.
– Email management. Cardinalis does not manage your email list or design email content. However, we will place links on your website to your email service.
– Donation administration. Cardinalis does not manage your campaign finances. However, we do design effective, eye-catching donation sections and buttons for your site and link them to your online donation service.
Website Service Plan
Included in our candidate website service plan:
– Consultation meeting, in person or Zoom, 2x/year to ensure your site reflects your hard work as a public servant and includes up-to-date content. This is the service that sets Cardinalis apart from other design studios.
– Photo updates including alt text. Cardinalis will replace photos on your existing pages with new photos that you provide.
– Page content modification. We update your content as you receive new endorsements, pass significant legislation, etc.
– Link maintenance. If any of your outbound links change, Cardinalis will update them.
– Donate buttons. Cardinalis will remove donation sections and buttons prior to the beginning of session to comply with ethics policy and restore them after session ends.
– QR Codes. If you need QR codes to use on print materials or elsewhere to easily connect your potential voters to your website, social media accounts, or email management pages, we provide those at no additional charge.
– Icon and link maintenance for social media. We are happy to add new social media account icons or links to your site.
– Website hosting, domain name registry, and identity protection. If you choose to have us do so, Cardinalis will handle your website hosting plan, including domain registry and identity protection, so you don’t have to. (Charges for hosting, etc. are not included in the maintenance plan fee.)
– Back up and Restore. Should your website be hacked or deleted, you won’t have to worry because we will back it up monthly.
Additional Services
Cardinalis provides these services at our hourly rate:
– New pages. We are happy to add any additional pages to your site that you wish, but we bill at the hourly rate for this service.
– Rebranding. Should you decide to rebrand your campaign, you should include your website in that rebranding. This includes colors, fonts, icons, etc.
– Page redesign. Once you have approved of your website and the pages have been published, any significant redesign will be charged at the hourly rate.
